Is Coventry Homes still building in DFW, and what does a new Coventry home cost in 2026? Yes, in a lot of places. I went through Coventry's own community pages on November 4, 2026. Its Dallas-Fort Worth page lists 28 communities, and 20 of them have a plan or a quick move-in home priced at $500,000 or more. The lowest-priced Coventry communities, such as Heartland in Heartland and Hulen Trails in Fort Worth, top out below that line, so they are not in this post.

Every price below is what Coventry advertised on November 4, 2026. Prices change often and the builder sets them, so use this as a snapshot and confirm on the community page before you plan around a number.

Where Coventry Is Selling at $500,000 and Up

Coventry sorts most communities by lot width, so one community can show several starting prices. I list the lowest price at or above $500,000. "Quick move-ins" are the homes Coventry lists as built or under construction today, with the price range of all of them.

Source: Coventry Homes Dallas-Fort Worth communities and each community page, checked November 4, 2026. Four more communities have only a few homes above the line: Ramble in Celina (quick move-ins up to $661,879), Landmark in Denton (one at $529,990), Meadow Vista in Anna (one at $506,360) and Townhomes at Ballpark in Arlington (two at $509,440 and $527,990). Creekside in Prosper and Rolling Hills in Arlington are marked coming soon, so neither is selling yet.

The Entry Points: Under $650,000

The most affordable ways into a Coventry home above $500,000 are in Wylie, Lavon, McKinney, Fort Worth and Waxahachie.

Dominion of Pleasant Valley in Wylie has the 50-foot series starting at $470,990, and its quick move-in list shows homes from $524,990 up. Coventry lists 20 quick move-ins there, and only 2 are move-in ready. Two of the finished ones are a Carson at $524,990 and a Farnsworth at $599,990.

Wildflower Ranch in Fort Worth starts at $502,990 for the Newark plan, with seven quick move-ins from $566,019. Myrtle Creek in Waxahachie shows a $524,990 move-in ready home, listed as $68,000 off. Trinity Falls and Painted Tree in McKinney begin at $512,990 and $529,990. Coventry lists a pool-and-fitness "Lodge" at Trinity Falls and a 20-acre lake at Painted Tree.

The Middle of the Range: $550,000 to $800,000

Most of Coventry's DFW inventory sits here. Hillstead in Lavon starts at $584,990 on a 540-acre plan, with a 5,300-square-foot clubhouse and a pickleball court. Coventry names Wylie ISD for it. Furst Ranch in Flower Mound starts at $598,990, and Coventry names Argyle ISD. Eight of its nine quick move-ins are still under construction, with estimated completion between November 2026 and March 2027.

In Celina, Cambridge Crossing is a 639-acre community with a 6,700-square-foot amenity center and Celina ISD. Its 60-foot series starts at $649,990. The 50-foot and 70-foot series there are marked coming soon, so I did not count them. Sandbrock Ranch in Aubrey starts at $552,990, and The Homestead in Rockwall at $556,990.

The Top of the Range

Mustang Lakes in Celina has a 74-foot series from $781,990, and Star Trail in Prosper starts at $1,047,990 inside a 900-acre plan. Star Trail's five quick move-ins run to $1,330,705, and two of them are move-in ready.

What I Saw When I Toured Coventry in Wylie

I filmed a Coventry model in Dominion of Pleasant Valley in October 2025.

When I toured the model, I saw a foyer with 20-foot ceilings, a large quartz island and a walk-in pantry in the kitchen, and an upstairs game room. That was one plan from last year, so the video shows how Coventry finishes a home, not what is for sale today. My notes from that visit are in the Coventry model tour.

Bring Your Own Agent Before Your First Visit

Most DFW builders register a buyer on the first visit to the sales office, and many will not add a buyer's agent afterward. I did not find Coventry's registration policy on its community pages, so ask the sales team directly, and do it before you walk in, not after. The page on why a buyer's agent matters on new construction explains how the rule works and what it can cost you.

If Coventry is on your list, schedule a private consultation before your first visit to a Coventry community. The sales team works for the builder, while a buyer's agent works for you.

Incentives, Taxes and the Contract

Coventry's site advertises interest rates starting at 2.99% (5.959% APR) when you finance through Jet HomeLoans, with the full terms on a separate sales event page. I saw that on November 4, 2026. Many quick move-in homes also show a price reduction, from $11,000 to $143,000 off a reference price. Incentives change, apply to specific homes and are set by the builder, so get the terms in writing for the exact home you want.

None of the Coventry community pages I checked state a MUD, a PID or a tax rate, and most do not state HOA dues. Many North Texas master-planned communities carry one or more of these, so ask for the full tax rate and any special district assessments before you sign. Pecan Square is the exception on dues, since Coventry says its HOA covers internet and front yard maintenance. My guide to MUD and PID taxes in DFW new construction covers the notices a seller must give you and how to read the numbers. For the contract itself, see how to read a builder contract in DFW.

Frequently Asked Questions

Is Coventry Homes still building in the Dallas area?

Yes. As of November 4, 2026, Coventry's DFW page lists 28 communities, from Wylie, Celina and McKinney to Fort Worth, Mansfield and Waxahachie. Two of them, Creekside in Prosper and Rolling Hills in Arlington, are coming soon.

What is the lowest price for a Coventry home above $500,000?

The lowest starting prices I found at or above $500,000 were $502,990 at Wildflower Ranch in Fort Worth and $512,990 at Trinity Falls in McKinney. Coventry also builds below $500,000 in several communities.

Can I buy a Coventry home that is already built?

Many communities list quick move-in homes, but most are still under construction. At Dominion of Pleasant Valley, 2 of 20 are move-in ready, and at Painted Tree 7 of 24 are. Those counts change as homes sell.

Which school district are these communities in?

Coventry's pages name Wylie ISD for Hillstead, McKinney ISD for Painted Tree and Trinity Falls, Celina ISD for Cambridge Crossing, Argyle ISD for Furst Ranch and Prosper ISD for Star Trail. Its Dominion of Pleasant Valley page does not name a district, so confirm the assignment for any address with the district.

Should I use an agent to buy new construction from Coventry, and how do I choose one?

You are not required to, but it is worth thinking through. The builder's sales team represents the builder, and many builders register a buyer on the first visit, which can lock out an agent later. The right agent for new construction has walked these communities, reads builder contracts and knows the tax and design-center questions to ask. I am a licensed broker with 22 years in the business, and I tour these builders' models myself, so that is the fit Grey Square offers.

I filmed Coventry's model in Dominion of Pleasant Valley last fall, and I have toured other DFW builders' models too, so I know what the finishes look like in person versus on the website.
